You may or may not be aware that W.A.R.A. (Waltham Abbey Residents Association) has undergone a change of personnel, as two key members left the committee recently. Due to this change, W.A.R.A’S Facebook has had to be taken down, as it was run from a personal account and the new committee had no access to the account to enable them to continue operating it.

W.A.R.A is in the process of setting up a new Facebook page that is now called the official WARA and we hope that all 4000+ members who were used to keeping up to date with what was happening in the Abbey and surrounding areas will find the new home. We are also in the process of updating our website www.walthamabbeyresidentsasssociation.co.uk and this will be up and running shortly. We will use both these new forums and continue posting comments and provide information etc.  Meanwhile, rest assured that W.A.R.A will continue to keep their eye on the ball, and, with our residents continued support, work to keep Waltham Abbey a place to be proud of.

W.A.R.A committee are currently formatting our response to the Picks Farm, Sewardstone Road E4 development proposal. If any local residents wish to raise objections to this huge major development, we urge them to hurry as the closing date for the proposal is 3rd December 2013.

Any objections to this proposal should be sent
